Consumer & Business Bankruptcy Probate & Estate Administration Estate Planning Real Estate Business Organizations Business & Commercial Law Contracts Personal Injury Bankruptcy I represent individuals and businesses in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Chapter 7 of the United States Bankruptcy Code allows individuals to eliminate or discharge most of their debts. Under Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, individual debtors are allowed to rearrange their financial affairs by repaying a portion of their debts. Under a typical Chapter 13 plan, the debtor makes monthly payments to a bankruptcy trustee, who then distributes the money to the debtor’s creditors. I advise individuals and businesses on their bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy options so they can take maximum advantage of the options available to them. If you are thinking about filing for bankruptcy, contact my office to schedule a confidential consultation.
